The ovoid jar painted in bright underglaze blues with two "Long Eliza" figures on a fenced garden terrace,
sided by blue hollow rocks, one issuing a large blooming plantain, the other possibly a blooming lingzhi,
the neck and footrim each with silver mounts, the footrim engraved,
the whole surmounted by a domed silver cover with free-standing finial of a flower (hibiscus?)
on a curled stem issuing from three leaves;
the mounts Dutch : Possibly Johannes Mattheus van Kempen Jr. using this mark in Utrecht 1838-1854

Note :
The "Long Eliza" depiction of a slender Chinese lady with a flower
was very popular one on both Kangxi and later European porcelains.
In The Netherlands, she was named 'Lange Lijs', which became 'Long Eliza' in English
