Note :

In the Queen Anne period (1702-14), although most spoons were still ordered in singles or pairs,

some small sets were ordered - usually still in sets of 6, known as straight sets.

These were added to as needed - those sets then called assembled.

Larger "straight sets" (usually 12) became more common during the Georgian periods,

full "services" not generally available until c1750-60.

Condition : Good to excellent, with good tines having normal wear to the outer tines;
two with rubbed out marks; one with silver strengthening to one side of the shaft.

These are some of the nicest early tines that we have had, retaining excellent length, usually lost in use.

7.6" Long / 25.22 oz.
