Rare Set 12 Victorian Silver-Gilt Ice Cream Shovels, Fiddle-Thread-Shell, England, 1858 

 

Of quite heavy gauge silver and double struck
each the terminal front and back, and the bowl verso with a well cast shell,
the terminals also engraved with the coronet of a marquess

 

 

Condition : Excellent; mellow color to the gilt; crisp marks and engraving

 

5.5" Long / 13.97 oz.
