Each round plate painted in famille verte enamels heightened with gilt, depicting three brown birds, one on a blooming prunus branch opposite a pair flying, possibly in courtship dance, amongst scattered leafy blossoms,

all within a gilt roundel and plain deep cavetto headed by a double gilt line,

each rim with four long-tailed fanciful phoenix alternating with four flowerheads,

each flowerhead with green leaves and a single blue enamel leaf,

all against a black-stippled green ground;  

the versos with iron red diapered edge decoration above  three blooming prunus sprays;

the centers with blue concentric circles; brown dressed outer rim

Condition : Excellent with painting and gilt in very good order; a ceramic or glaze bubble (in the white) in the left example, visible in image; no chips, cracks or restorations noted under blacklight or 500W illumination
