Norwood Creech is a third generation artist from a family of female painters,

each well-schooled in the classical traditions of both painting and drawing.

Norwood's contemporary style of realism has emerged to combine the best classical aspects

with a fresh spirit of energy and brevity.

Noteworthy honors and exhibitions include :
Working as a student of Wayne Thiebaud at the Sante Fe Institute of Fine Arts;
Participating as a teaching and exhibiting artist for the Lincoln Center's Institute for Aesthetic Education in Rural Settings;
and Attending a residency at Dorland Mountain Art Colony, Temecula CA.
