The reversible nutcrackers with a central pivot between pierced and decoratively incised oval holders,
above tapering reeded handles, one engraved with conjoined Gothic initials 'ASI',
each handle fully marked
Good reversible silver nutcrackers are very difficult to find.
Although from 1926 - and a bit later than our normal time span - we are pleased of offer this fine pair,
by George Howson (Harrsion Bros. & Howson, the company achieving a
Royal Warrant from both Queen Victoria and Edward VIII.
Excellent condition; very crisp marks; no flaking, distortion or bends
