The fully upholstered arched crestrail over tapering sides above a trapezoidal upholstered seat, raised on cabriole front legs ending in pad feet, the knees with well carved acanthus leaves, the nicely raked back legs chamfered to all sides and connected by a turned stretcher
Provenance : from the Colonial Williamsburg Collection
Condition : Excellent, with early if not original surfaces to the wood; excellent patination; replaced blocks verso; in need of recovering in your personal choice of fabric (we will be happy to assist, including antique fabric, if desired)
