depicting the drunken Silenes astride a donkey

accompanied by youths, dancing nymphs and fairies with amorini above,
with a mother of pearl base,

unmarked silver mounts, the cover plaque by John Obrisset c.1725

 

Condition:  overall good, with small losses and bends to silver, appropriate to age and usage

 

  Provenance: Private Collection, England
