Of heavy gauge silver and usual double ended form, the larger rather wide;
the shaft engraved in a conjoined Roman MM above the smaller shaft below the marks;
the shaft also scratch-engraved ' X / 1 '

 

Marks : Maker's mark MA above a mullet Grimwade #1987, entered 1713;
All marks quite good; Britannia slightly rubbed

 

Note : Marrow scoops were introduced about 1690.

 

Condition : Excellent; a slight right-hand tip wear to larger bowl, visible in the image below

 

8-3/8" Long / 1.8 oz.
