Comprising 8 knives with scimitar II steel blades, and 8 forks with steel two-tine prongs on a baluster shaft, each with
cast pistol-handled hafts ending with scrolled escallop shell with wave decorated shafts, all by Thomas Swift, c1758,
one knife very slightly smaller and crested with an eagle displayed, two heads, ducally crowned, and with a smaller newer blade
Lengths: Knives 10 7/8”; Forks: 8 ?”
Condition: overall excellent; expected minor use dings; no splits to knives; one fork with ?” split near ferrule; steel
blades with expected dark spots; forks tines in excellent condition; marks rubbed, some still legible
