GEORGE III UNUSALLY FACET-CUT FIRING GLASS

England, c1775

 

 

The round funnel bowl with unusual basal facet cuts forming hearts to the upper edge,
the bowl the rim with a row of polished horizontal ovals,
above an 8-panel stem having four vertical rows of three polished ovals,
raised on a quite thick firing foot with snapped pontil

 

Condition : Excellent, without chips or restorations

 

4-3/8" High, the Bowl 2-1/8" Wide, the Foot 2-3/8" Wide, ½" Thick
