The round tapering bowl with reeded rim, crested with a falcon pierced through with a sword,

the verso with a centering dot, the interior with hand-hammering marks

 

Condition: Excellent; good marks

 

“Beakers at any date are comparatively rare, but during the 19th century, there are so many small mugs

and goblets that it seems few beakers were made”.  Antique Silver, Peter Waldron, p. 165
