The drawn trumpet bowl over a narrow stem with a single thread surrounding a tightly coiled multi-spiral core,

the bowl engraved with a jaybird in flight and fruiting grapevines and tendrils, conical foot with snapped pontil

 

Engraving with wear over the cutting, but there is, as usual, the question of whether Jacobite

engraving is contemporary

 

Condition: 2 small chips to the outer rim; otherwise excellent

 

7.25" High

Bowl 2-2/2" Wide / Foot 2-7/8" Wide
