The small finely grained rosewood table of good mellow color,
having a veneered and satinwood string-inlaid edge to the projecting rectangular drop leaf-top,
over a string-inlaid drawer with fitted interior,
having a cross-banded leather-lined sliding ratcheted writing easel beside a row of small compartments to the right,
all above a string-inlaid drawer fitted with a tapering square bag of pleated celadon silk,
supported on tapering square legs with string inlaid corners,
rising to a band of triple string-inlay, and ending in spade feet; retaining key
Condition : Excellent with minor nicks and scratches appropriate to age and usage; original finish and brasses
