with BRUSHING SLIDE, England, c1765

 

 

The high quality chest of drawers having a rectangular top with thumbmolded edge,
above an oak brushing slide and four graduated cockbeaded drawers,
all raised on high bracket feet with shaped returns;
the top and sides of solid mahogany;
wonderful color and patination,
bearing early surfaces and pierced brasses

 

Condition : Excellent, with minor dents and abrasions appropriate to age and usage

 

32.75" High x 31.25" Wide x 18.5" Deep
