Charles II Upholstered Oak Stool, c1670

 

The small rectangular stool having a top
upholstered in a contemporary muted scarlet damask edged by cotton tassels,
raised on baluster legs ending in turned ball feet and joined by stretchers

 

Condition : Excellent for age and usage; good patination;

expected erosion to feet; one foot with a repair and possibly re-toed

 

16" High x 15.5" Wide x 13" Deep
