M. FORD CREECH ANTIQUES
All precious metals are making news today, including silver, the current prices approaching and,
in some cases, surpassing those of 1980. Advertisements abound, suggesting turning your silver
and gold into cash. Please take caution. Before you decide to sell your silver, please contact a silver
expert for an evaluation of the objects under consideration. In the 1980’s, many fine goods were sold
that had more value as a work of artistry than the simple metal weight. In addition, the maker and
dating of the piece may escalate the real value even further. Once melted down, these pieces cannot be
brought back to life. If you wish to benefit from the current value of the metals, there are other
methods of disposal for profit.
I am certain most reputable and knowledgeable silver dealers would be willing to assist you with
proper evaluations, as would we at M. Ford Creech Antiques.
