The miniature book-form vinaigrette, with spine and simulated pages siding engine-turned covers,
the hinged lid with a central vacant rectangle, opening to a gilt interior
with chased scrolling foliate grill; marked to the lid and base;
the lid interior scratched Ferdinand (?) Roy
Condition : Excellent; strong hinges and good detailing throughout; unengraved rectangle to the lid
good marks to both lid and base

The silver-gilt vinaigrette of rounded rectangular form, the exterior engine turned with a basket-weave decoration,
the top with an applied rectangle engraved MFL in conjoined script; opening to a gilt interior with chased grill
centering an open flower; marked to the lid and base interiors
Condition : Excellent; gilt and hinges both in good condition; good marks to lid and base
1-1/2" x 1"; .8 oz.
