In the English Regency manner, the tablet back with stiles curving to a shaped trapezoidal slip seat,
raised on outcurving saber legs, the whole finely inlaid with floral marquetry and stringing
Condition: excellent, with some small pieces of missing veneer on one side

RARE GEORGE III MAHOGANY CHILD’S OPEN ARMCHAIR
England, c1770-80
The arched crestrail above a vertically pierced splat, the shaped arms continuing into molded supports,
over an upholstered stuff-over seat, straight molded legs joined by stretchers
Condition: Overall very good; refinished, the feet with expected wear appropriate to age and usage, scattered pest damage
