The rounded rectangular papier-mâché tray painted in gilt, black shades of white with a chinoiserie landscape depicting
swans on a lake before multiple pagodas, various trees and flying birds, upon a muted gilt ground, within a galleried surround
with a gilt Greek Key border, raised on a later gilt-heightened faux bamboo stand; the gilt ground with very nice warm oxidation;
the stand with a solid center platform for the tray
Condition : Good to excellent; minor dents, rubbing and surface abrasions appropriate to age and usage
