Of globular form, anhua molded (hidden decoration) with floral and foliate decoration, painted in underglaze blue

with floral sprays and diapering, clobbered (overpainted) with 4 large cartouches of baskets of flowers and

floral sprays in overglaze enamels reserved against a ground of iron red flowerheads on a gilt ground

 

Condition: Excellent; the lid with an invisibly restored chip beneath the rim
