Of heavy gauge silver, in the Hanoverian pattern with strong upper ridge and rattail attachment

to the deep rounded bowl, excellent patination

 

Condition: Excellent

 

Note: Hash spoons are very large basting spoons, over 13” in length, that were used for serving hash (mixture

of potatoes and meat) in the 18^th and 19^th centuries.  The early large ones are particularly collectible.
