Of heavy gauge silver, in the Hanoverian pattern with strong upper ridge and rattail attachment

to the deep rounded bowl, excellent patination

 

Condition: Excellent

 

Note: Hash spoons are very large basting spoons, over 13” in length, that were used for serving hash (mixture

of potatoes and meat) in the 18th and 19th centuries.  The early large ones are particularly collectible.
