Of shaped and barbed form, painted in famille rose and rust with a Chinese family in a garden terrace, the gentleman
in grisaille dress holding a conch emerging from its shell and a spear, a "kylin" at his feet, a lady beside with a plate of cakes,
as two further ladies and two children look on, before a river/mountain landscape with houses and pagodas, the shapes rim
having black-outlined vignettes of sanguine landscapes alternating with puce diapering, flowerheads and gilt foliage
Condition: excellent; one with firing flaw in center field; enamels in excellent condition
