Of elongated ovoid shape painted in black and overglaze enamels with "Boy at the Window", taken from a

Chinese export Mandarin version, depicting a Chinese family in a fenced garden terrace, a boy at the window

looking out, alternating with elongated cartouches of famille rose trellis diapering and flora against an orange

ground; verso with 425 in red enamel

 

Condition: Very good; firing flaw to upper rim; tiny nicks to inside mouth; handle base with a hairline;

some scratches to enamels, as visible in images
