The molded strap-fluted ground reserved having side cartouches edged with molded leafy sprays

and flowers and headed by a molded pointed blossom, painted in blue with floral sprays, the shaped rim

with a diaper border of flowerheads; further floral sprays beneath the spout and on the handle, to the interior

lip and base, the footrim also with vertical molding; an illegible painter’s mark inside the footrim

 

Condition: Very good; no chips, cracks or repairs; the handle with one glaze skip revealing the unglazed

painting beneath (shown above)
