The rectangular tortoiseshell box with a silver-hinged convex silver-inlaid lid pressed to

resemble hair woven with ribbons, above a silver thumb-lift,

opening to a tortoiseshell concave base fronted by an oval unengraved silver thumb-rest

 

Condition : Excellent; a few expected minor scuffs verso

 

1" High x 1-1/2” Deep  x  2-3/8” Long
