Of ovoid shape, having six molded panels painted in blue and white with a variety of flora, with horizontal
bands of flowerheads above and below, the neck banded in hallmarks silver and surmounted by a domed
silver cover with single flower finial, the verso with an Artemisia leaf mark; mounts for 1837, Netherlands,
.833 fine silver, with maker's mark conjoined VK over 7A(?) (probably J. M. Van Kempen )
