 with rooms reflecting the taste of the prosperous classes, in styles ranging from Louis XVI to Art Nouveau; and to the

Ernst-Barlach-Haus, a museum housing sculpture, drawings, and printed graphic art.

portraits, landscapes, genre scenes, and figurative works for the next thirty-five years.

 He was also known as Karl Jens.
