The ovoid jar with a softly painted central round reserve of chrysanthemums issuing from a blue rock, surrounded
by a wide panel of vertical molded ribbing, the shoulders and lower section with scattered leaves, flowerheads and
flame symbols, surmounted by a marked silver mounted neck and silver rimmed top with seated blue kylin; lid and
neck silver mounts marked with a Netherlands 19th century small articles silver guarantee sword mark, the lid also
with an additional untraced maker's mark, possible M or W with pellet
Condition: Excellent; no chips, no cracks, and no hairlines.
