Of square shaped form, painted with a blooming prunus spray and lotus petals, sided by applied dragon head handles

 

The dragon in mythology symbolizes authority, strength and goodness, and is Lord of the skies and the bringer of rain.

 

Condition: Minor glaze nick to each corner of the base; several burst glaze bubbles to body;

 minor fritting to the top rim; firing flaw at one handle attachment, visible in image at above right
