The cup shaped bowl engraved with the Stuart six petaled rose and ferns above an opaque twist stem on circular foot, polished pontil. 

 

Condition: excellent; good striation and footrim wear

England, c.1750

 

     

 

     

 

Lead glass, the drawn bowl glass with one-piece bowl and stem. the folded foot with inclusion and snapped pontil,

finely engraved with a jaybird and grape cluster suspended from 2 leaves

 

Condition: excellent; good striation; engraving appears period with appropriate wear

 

4" H (2" D bowl, 2 1/4" base)
