SET OF 5 JACOBITE INTEREST FACET CUT WINES

England, 19^th Century

Set of 5 blown wine glasses, each bowl engraved in the Jacobite manner with a jaybird in flight, the bowl verso with

Jacob’s latter or forget-me-not sprays, raised on a facet-cut stem over a plain round foot with snapped pontils; good

bubbling and striation; however due to the weight and clarity of the glass, these are from the latter half of the 19^th century

Condition: Excellent

5 3/4” (14.5 cm) High; approx. 2 ¾” Footrim Width (Heights and Widths vary)

Weigh of each glass ranges 7.5 oz. to 8.1 oz.
