The rectangular fenced pen with roofed shed, accompanied by the original pig, all from gray earthenware with an
early frosted green lead glaze. This was the first time period for this use of a lead glaze, which turned
green in the firing. The frosting is the mineralization that occurs with extended underground burial in damp areas.
Condition: excellent; several minor chips; original firing crack to tower.
