Good Pair George III Silver Hanoverian Shell-Bowl Sauce Ladles, crested

 

 

Of heavy gauge silver, in the Hanoverian pattern with upturned terminals and shell-form bowls,
the bowls with very nice facet-drop heels;
the terminals crested :
A cubit arm erect in armour, the hand grasping a dagger
(Fairbairn's 210.2) : Arnot, Bearman, Browne, Cunningham, Curtis,
M'More, M'Vean, Mathews, Parker, Richardson et al)

 

Condition : Excellent, marks overcast but legible; good cresting

 

7" Long / 4.5 oz.
