TOBACCO / PIPE BOX, with CLAY PIPE

Late 18th Century
The elongated rectangular three-lidded
brass tobacco and pipe box with early clay sailor's pipe, the
hinged center lid engraved with a fully rigged ship, one hinged end
opening to reveal a slotted pipe compartment with pipe, the other
hinged end for matches, with interior striking rasp, the ends and
verso with floral engraving
