The rectangular top with outset corners, the frieze fitted with a drawer with lower protrusion characteristic of the very early designs,

above 4 spurred lappet-headed tapering cylindrical legs (the spur also indicative of the early dating), ending in pad feet; the green felt-covered

interior with 4 guinea wells and 4 candlecups.

The table is in excellent structural condition! The top has been reset and the blocks reglued. It bears an old mellow refinish.

Provenance: a California collector.
