Of heavy gauge Britannia .950 silver, the baluster form body on a round flanged foot, s-shaped handle with thumb rest,
the base with good marks and scratch-engraved with the initials of the original owner “A.M”
Condition: Very good with normal wear; excellent marks; build-up of tarnish on footrim (now being professionally polished);
no repairs or corrosion
Note: The mark of William Fleming "is frequently found on well executed small pieces of hollowware such
as cream jugs, saucepans, dredgers and miniature porringers." Grimwade, p.510
