Of heavy gauge, the early baluster form with an ovoid body made in two parts, having a narrow neck,

and cast and applied ear-handle, raised on 3 cabriole hoof feet issuing from trefoil headings, waved upper rim,

the body with original chasing of flowerheads, shells and scrolls around a cartouche with remains of a crest

 

Condition: Reinforcement to verso of crest; possible reinforcement to body juncture at front center

 

3 ¾” H, 5.4 oz.
