Of excellent form, the arched crestrail with shell and foliate carving over a solid shaped and well figured splat,

the curved stiles extending into rear molded legs ending in club feet, the rounded period seat with veneered rail centering a

well carved shell, the front cabriole legs hipped into the seat rail and having shell-carved knees and returns, and

ending in ball and claw feet

Condition: Original finish with excellent color and patination; original seat and some remaining original blocks;

minor repairs at joint of crest rail and stiles, old repair to joint of front legs and shoe,

other scattered minor flaws, one rear leg with repair
