In the rococo manner, consisting of three silver casters & two silver-mounted cut glass cruets (original),
all with the same marks and monograms, engraved DMB in conjoined script, each caster of vase
shape on a pedestal foot, gadrooned footrims, girdle and shoulder rim, the lids with floral and foliate
diagonal piercing divided by diagonal engraving, flame finials, the cruets having monogrammed lidded silver
mounts & handles, shell-form thumb rests, within a conforming stand with applied beribboned monogrammed
oval wreath, raised on three cabriole legs ending in shell feet
Marks: Grimwade # 3633, for casters & cruets 1766,1767, 1769, 1770-75
Condition: Excellent; the bottles with proper wear to base; no repairs found
Height: 9.5” Weight: 33.124 oz. (without the silver-mounted glass bottles)
The weight of the silver-mounted bottles is 20.1 oz.
