The lid is marked with a lion passant verso
Of oval lidded form with bright cut seaweed scrolling between neoclassical bright cut narrow bands, each side with a
vacant shield, threaded foot, the hinged lid also with bright cutting and surmounted by an ebonized finial, straight spout and
ebonized handle with thumb rest. The conforming oval stand with matching bright cutting, centering a shield with monogram or
crest removal, and resting of 4 ball feet.
Condition: Excellent; crisp marks; probable (but invisible) monogram removal to the two body shields; monogram
removal to stand shield; the stand with minor scuffs
