Of circular form with reeded rim, the plain field centering an unknown coat of arms surmounted by a
griffin’s head erased and above the motto “DEO ET REGI” (For God and King), the motto attributed
for Stanhope (England) and D’Ambly (Champagne); raised on three round flattened disk feet
Condition: Slight wear to the plate around the engraving; otherwise excellent
