Set of four Old Sheffield plate candlesticks, with two three-light branches, the tapering round shafts with gadrooned
shoulders, surmounting round bases and below urn form sconces, the detachable candelabra branches with a single candle
extension and two curved arms supporting drip pans and sconces; the bases, knops, shoulders, nozzles and drip pans all with
matching gadrooning; rolled edges and pitch-filled stems with felt covering to the bases
Mark: Each candlestick cup with mark of Creswick (registered 1811)
Condition: Very good; sconces slightly out of level; light bleed in a few areas;
one repair to joint below nozzle of one candelabra base
