The wavy wheel, or umbrella, form back with a central floral medallion, the crestrail carved with bellflowers, over a wide

 caned seat with cushion, the seat rail with centrally carved trophy, on cabriole legs with further floral

carving to the knees, ending on trefid pad feet

 

Provenance: Glaisher & Nash Ltd., London, and appearing in their advertisement in 'Country Life Annual', 1964
