RARE GEORGE III MAHOGANY CHILD'S OPEN ARM CHAIR

England, c1800

The arched crestrail above a vertically pierced splat, the shaped arms continuing into molded supports,

over an upholstered stuff-over seat, straight molded legs joined by stretchers

Condition: Overall very good; refinished, the feet with wear appropriate to age and usage; scattered pest damage

Note: The craftsmanship required to make a child's chair exceeds that of a full scale chair
