"Fisherman & Billboard Island"

The oval strap molded sauceboat in the Fisherman and Billboard Island pattern, with scrolled and beaded

reserve painted with differing opposing scenes of a fisherman within a riverscape, one with pagodas and a large pine,

the other with large rocks, pines and birds,  with an additional pagoda reserve beneath the spout, the border with

floral scroll diapering, the interior painted with a central floral spray and spout leaf and scroll design, scrolled

handle, raised on a molded oval pedestal foot; underglaze blue open crescent mark

 

Condition: Excellent; one firing flaw beneath the spout; one small footrim nick
