GOOD FAMILLE ROSE "PEACOCK" PATTERN DEEP SOUP PLATE

Of knife-cut octagonal form, painted in the center with a pair of peafowl (male and female),

the male with long green plumage, whose crest feathers form a heart with two dots of gilt, perched on grisaille

rocks amidst famille rose, gilt and bianco sopra bianco peonies and other flora, with a beautifully

painted rim border of colorful flowers and leaves brown-edged rim, in famille rose and

bianco sopra bianco, the whole heightened with gilt

 

Condition: excellent, wear only to the glaze of the roundel line
