FIRST PERIOD WORCESTER LEAF PICKLE DISH
England ,c1770
The leaf dish of thin ceramic with slender stem and feathered serrated edge, decorated in
underglaze blue with the "Vine Leaf" pattern of flowers and scrolling vines; the verso molded
with veins, marked with an open underglaze blue crescent
Condition: Very good, with only one minute frit to only one serrated edge point, visible only beneath a loupe

Of a deep leaf form, the verso molded with veins and a stalk, painted in deep blue with the
classic Willow Pattern, with two birds in flight over a Chinese pagoda riverscape
Condition: Excellent, verso with painter's mark

BOW LEAF PICKLE DISH
England, c1765
Of leaf form painted in blue and white with three grape clusters among leaves and tendrils within a feathered
serrated rim, the verso with molded veins
Note: A similar dish has been referenced by Lowestoft. However I do believe this to be Bow.
Condition: Several nicks to the serrated points
