 The round tumbler raised from a single sheet and well weighted at the base, with an incised line or rolled over

edge to the rim, marked verso and gilded on the interior

 

Note :

Made from the mid-17th century though the 18th century, "tumblers" are so named as the heavier base automatically rights the cup when knocked

 

Condition : Excellent, with good marks; several minor scuffs; no monogram or crest removal

 

2-5/8" Wide x 2.5"H / 2.8 oz.
