The rectangular hinged ratcheting top with rest opening to a leather covered underside and interior, above a case with

two graduated locking drawers opening to the left end, the larger upper drawer fitted and with a hidden compartment;

original finish, leather and keys; mahogany secondary woods

 

Provenance : David H. Wilson, Teaneck NJ

 

Condition : Excellent; the early leather dried and cracked, and gilt worn away (as expected); no further issues;

excellent heavy timber, and possibly Jamaican mahogany

 

7.5” High x 21.5” Long x 10.75” Deep
